Tearless
Tearless is a game made for the Godot Wild Jam #95.
How to play:
Within the dungeon, you will move by clicking the direction keys at the bottom of the screen. These keys always move you in relation to the minimap on their left, so the UP key will always move you NORTH, regardless of what direction your character may be facing.
In combat, you have two options: Attack, represented by the knife in the bottom center of the screen, and Defend, represented by the eye beside it. When a fight begins, the enemy will flash a card above them, revealing what PATTERN they will follow during the fight, from left to right. Empty slots represent the enemy waiting, while ones with a “!” represent them attempting to attack you. Try to remember the pattern! As it will only be visible for a moment. React to expected enemy attacks by Defending and Attack when they leave themselves open!
